Short Description:
Dataset of speed limit adherence aggregated at the LSOA level. Calculated from
the percentage of vehicle going beyond or below the speed limit. The data is
derived from GPS trajectories of Light Goods Vehicles (LGV) and Heavy Goods
Vehicles (HGV).

Description:
Dataset of vehicle adherence to speed limits across British cities. Collected from aggregated GPS trajectory data provided by Compass IoT. It includes trips by light goods vehicles and heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) during October 2023. The data is aggregated to 2021 LSOA areas and 2022 Data Zones for Scotland. Aggregation is based on road links with more than 25 GPS points. Some LSOAs are missing due to the absence of qualifying road link data. The dataset covers 13 regions: Cambridge, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Greater Manchester, Newcastle, Oxford, South Yorkshire, West England, West Midlands, and West Yorkshire.
