Description:
This dataset provides link-level speed and volume data for car trips across Great Britain, derived from GPS observations from over 200k vehicles, collected by Compass IoT and map-matched to OS MasterMap Highways road links. Data cover the month of April 2024. Each record represents a unique road link identified by TOID, with mean speed, 25th, 50th, 75th and 85th percentile speeds, trip count, and total GPS observation count, aggregated across all time periods. Records with fewer than 10 observations are excluded. Road link geometries are available from Ordnance Survey products such as OS MasterMap Highways, accessible via services including Edina Digimap.
