Locomizer Daily Destination
Dataset
Summary
Short Description:
This dataset provides destination metrics at the H3 hex level 10 spatial level
for origins and H3 hex level 11 for destinations. It has been supplied by
Locomizer and is based on mobile trace data. It covers 125 urban areas across
the United Kingdom.

Description:
This dataset provides destination data (H3 hexagon level 11 - approx. 25m radius) linked to origins (H3 hexagon level 10 - approx. 66m radius) for each day in 2025. The metrics are built using the mobile trace data generated by a representative panel of anonymous users. This includes extrapolated number of users and extrapolated number of signals that traveled between one point to another. This dataset shows general mobility patterns rather than trip start points and end points. It is split into three datasets for each day: all travel, pedestrian and non-pedestrian.

Access
Access Service:
All users of HASP Safeguarded Data will have to complete appropriate (as determined by HASP) safe researcher training before access to any HASP Safeguarded Data is granted. Outputs created by the user are not checked or approved by HASP as analysis is completed on a user’s own machine, although are governed by the terms for which the projects were agreed. The level of data granularity for this service is decreased relative to the HASP Secure Service; although user and project approval procedures remain the same.
