Short Description:
Dataset of speed limit adherence aggregated at the road link level. Calculated
from the percentage of vehicle going beyond or below the speed limit. The data
is derived from GPS trajectories of Light Goods Vehicles (LGV) and Heavy Goods
Vehicles (HGV).

Description:
Dataset of vehicle adherence to speed limits across British cities. Collected from aggregated GPS trajectory data provided by Compass IoT. It includes trips by light goods vehicles and heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) during October 2023. The data is aggregated to Road Link data provided by Ordnance Survey. Aggregation is based on road links with more than 25 GPS points. Some road links are missing due to the absence of qualifying data. The dataset covers 13 regions: Cambridge, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Greater Manchester, Newcastle, Oxford, South Yorkshire, West England, West Midlands, and West Yorkshire.
